Designed with community and guided by its principles, the Fresh and Fare Community Market launched in June, 2023. Since its inception, community members have shopped at market over 4000 times, purchased $72,930.41 worth of produce or healthy pantry items and saved $32,818.65 as compared to the same purchases at mainstream retailers. The market features local growers and producers like Triple Sweet Honey, Mans Eggs and produce grown by our very own volunteers at Highfield Regenerative Farm!
The market employs circular economy practices to reduce waste and invites community members to bring their reusable containers, jars, egg cartons and shopping bags each visit. Community members share their tips, tricks and recipes to make the market a place for learning and to try out great new food.
